The May 1 meeting will be a special one. We will have the installation of new district officers. These include MHGC members Penny Merriman as 2nd Assistant District Director, Maxine Ranta as Recording Secretary, and Debbie Angel as Parliamentarian.
Our club will be bringing 4-5 floral centerpieces. Let Diane Goss know if you can bring one of these.
See the Chinook District web site or your copy of the Chinook Winds for the Flower Show schedule. Let Debbie Angel know if you can do a design. We need Novice entries for Class 4 - a design using spring flowers and entries for Class 1 - line-mass design. Also Crafts: a decorated garden hand tool or a Mother's Day corsage.
See the Horticulture schedule for ideas of what you can bring from your garden. You can bring up to 8 specimens. Look around at what looks good in your garden. If it is not listed on the Horticulture schedule, it can fit in the "Other worthy specimen" category.
