Foundation House Hanging Baskets and Pollinator Garden

Here are a few photos of club members and Foundation House residents at our May 10 "potting party". We potted up 20 hanging baskets. We weeded the pollinator garden, top-dressed with compost, planted a fuchsia in memory of Valerie Roloff, and added a row of wax begonias.

Club Plant Sale

Plan to attend the Marine Hills Garden Club Plant Sale April 22 and 23!

Friday, April 22, is the pre-sale day. Club members will help pull the pre-sale orders and put orders out for afternoon pickup.

Saturday, April 23 is the general plant sale from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Arrive early for best selection.

Location: 29301 7th Pl. S., Federal Way

Varied selection of perennials, native plants, annuals, vegetables.

Club Members in Federal Way Symphony Garden Tour

Once again, Marine Hills Garden Club played an important part in the success of the Federal Way Symphony Garden Tour. Several members were on committees and helped at gardens, and Carol Grimes was the tour chair. Suzy Blair and Gretchen Blanchard were two featured gardens.

Chinook District Basic Design Classes

The Chinook District will offer Basic Design (three classes). The October classes have been postponed to a date in the Spring. The dates and location will be announced at an upcoming Chinook General Meeting and in the Chinook Winds. Cost will probably be $30 for the three classes.
